So often we get caught up in what’s happening in our lives that we forget about all the blessings right in front of us. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Our worldly perspective will tell us that there is no way out. You may even think it’s impossible to have things turn around when you’re so far deep in the trenches. If we easily succumb to these thoughts it can be destructive and disastrous when trying to move forward from your setbacks, trials, and tribulations. We have to be careful what we feed our minds.
It’s important that when the world could understand if we gave up based on our difficult circumstances, that we try all the harder to have confidence in what we hope the future will bring, knowing that this isn’t the end. We know that God has the best plans for our life. We know He has plans to help us grow, prosper, and deliver our purpose here on Earth. So, why do we give up so easily when things start to fall apart? Why do we let negativity rule our minds and forget about the Truth? If you are treading through deep waters know that your lifeguard walks on water, and He will get you to where you’re supposed to be.
You’re not going to stay stuck. You’re not going to be in darkness forever. The God that we serve would never leave you in a place to be harmed or defeated. Know that when you don’t see a way out, He’s paving a way behind the scenes. Soon enough, you’ll see His plans unfold and you’ll be glad you had infinite trust and confidence in what was unseen in your journey.
