So often we become accustomed to our everyday routine and mindset of “just getting through the day” that all the days tend to blend together; it’s all a blur and we don’t even know the difference between the start and end of it. That stops now. Each day is a new start so choose to treat it like it is. Don’t live in what happened yesterday; the pains you felt and the disappointments you had. Wake up and wipe the slate clean.
Today is new and anything can happen. Renew your hope and strength and believe that whatever happens you will get through it with the best of your ability; trusting and believing that you are stronger than any trials and tribulations you face. Have visual thoughts of you making progress, slaying the monsters that illnesses are and earning medals for all your victories ahead! If your day gets rough, at least you know you started it off with good thoughts and it might make the blow of a bad day more bearable.
When you start your day mentally in a better place, it makes it easier to see the light in the darkness; the glimmer of hope when things get difficult.
