When did worrying about something make you happier? When did worrying cause you an overabundant amount of joy? It hasn’t and it won’t. Worry is the killer of dreams and a poison to our soul. Worry makes a positive view impossible to even the most optimistic eyes.
When we receive bad news from a medical report, we worry about what will happen next. When we wake up late for work, we worry that we may get fired. Worry is all around us but God’s grace gives you the beautiful gift of not having to worry. Instead, you can practice the act of being thankful for everything. Even the most difficult trials have a special purpose in Gods plan for your life. Being thankful lets you see the situation as a piece to the puzzle, instead of a sinking stone.
Jesus can calm the raging storm in your soul full of anxiety, worry and fear. By giving your problems to God you are making room in your heart for peace, comfort and happiness, even amongst the darkest nights. God knows that we can’t handle this life on our own, so let Him help you, guide you and fight for you. God has overcome the world; He will get you through whatever you’re facing today. Trust in Him.
